Q. When will I see results?
Improvements are seen at variable rates; it always depends on the type of scar and skin typing. Post treatment stages of improvement can be noticed gradually 12 weeks after your first treatment.
Q. Does it hurt ?
The treatment offers more of a sensation than any pain, its not classed as painful. A topical numbing can be applied prior to treatment. What you will feel is warm and prickling sensation throughout the treatment.
Q. How many treatments will I need and how often?
You can need anywhere up to 6 sessions 8-12 weeks apart. This treatment varies depending on each individual case. Your specialist will advise you of this during consultation.
Q. How much will it cost?
The cost of treatment depends on the size of the treatment area.
Q. Are there any side effects?
Post treatment there may be redness, swelling, bruising, itching and or sensitivity for 24-48 hours post treatment. However, it can be red, itchy, swelled, sensitive and scabbed for 5-10 days post treatment.
